ABOUT HVC
Hope is a 501(c)(3) organization founded by a group of people that is Helping Other People Excel, Georgia who resolved to stand in the gaps of a broken system that left too many of their brothers and sisters behind.
HOPE provides a comprehensive approach to homelessness in Atlanta. We are connecting individuals with our support services teams and offering transitional Mini housing to the chronically homeless, veterans.
Providing critical support services:
A walk-in center to serve as a one-stop-shop for every type of veteran facing every type of problem.
Regardless of time in service, discharge status, or any other traditional qualifier, HVC is ready to help. Our staff assists Veterans with navigating the VA and their benefits, identification services, mental and physical health referrals, financial counseling, and employment supports among other services. In addition, Veterans can receive hygiene kits and utilize a food pantry. All services are free of charge – all that we care about is whether you’ve ever taken the oath to defend the Constitution.
Our supportive program that provides housing for homeless men and women, and support services for addiction intervention, counseling, referrals for job training and jobs.
Built by Veterans for Veterans, HVC Community’s is a specialized community of mini homes combined with wrap-around, onsite services to get homeless Veterans off the street and transition them to permanent housing.
In contrast to traditional homeless services, a mini home provides the Veteran with privacy, a sense of security, and the ability to reintegrate at a comfortable pace. Veteran services are facilitated through an onsite community center that provides the Veterans with mentoring, case management, counseling, and linkage to other programs and services.
Aevolve Preventive Medical Program or “PMP” Clinics are innovative modular structures that are easily configured to provide preventive healthcare services.
Every resident will be provided comprehensive medical intake screening and treatment.
· Aevolve Healthcare PMP clinic can be easily and rapidly deployed as Modular, Medical, units fully equipped in a turnkey fashion ready to operate. Clinics are self-sustainable and can be equipped if needed with water reuse reservoirs, solar panels and passive ventilation roofing.
